Igbos in Ghana will not have happy peace Mr Okeson boost

War Between Emmanuel Okeson and Ndi Igbo Ghana That Led to 'Nigerian Must Go'

Protest in Ghana -

These are the alleged individuals who sponsored certain Ghanaian bloggers and Hassan Ayariga in a calculated attempt to beat the drums of war between Ghana and Nigeria.

For the past 12 years, since Eze Ihenetu was crowned Eze Igbo Ghana, these same men have relentlessly petitioned him and the entire Igbo community. Year after year, they’ve taken him to court, filed complaints with NIB Ghana, National Security, the Ministry of Chieftaincy, various traditional institutions across Ghana, and even the spiritual head of the Accra land.

Yet, in every attempt, they failed.

This year, shortly after the 2025 Igbo Yam Festival was announced, they went to Kumasi, in the Central Region of Ghana, and allegedly contracted five groups under the name “APES Group Ghana” along with some bloggers, led by the TikTok user known as @iloveghana5, to incite tension and stop the festival. Their mission? To sabotage an event that brings together thousands from all walks of life, both within Ghana and from abroad, an event that has even been recognized and endorsed by Ghana’s Ministry of Tourism.

These individuals, who do not represent even 4% of Igbos in Ghana, must be called to order.

Eze Igbo Ghana has carried the burden of Ndi Igbo on his shoulders with dignity and commitment. He has consistently promoted peace, order, and lawful living among Igbos in Ghana, hosting town hall meetings, inviting immigration officials, lawyers, and experts to educate our people on the laws of the host nation. His leadership has always been rooted in responsibility and unity.

Yet, despite this, a group of individuals, namely:

Joe Obi, Emmanuel Ezinwa, Emmanuel Ndubisi, Louis Okorie, Alex Eke Chukwu, Ichie Geopgry Muokwugwo, Raphael Umeadi, and Hycent Udenwoke, continue to fight an innocent man for standing up for his people.

Ndi Igbo, who did this to us?

This is how the Igbo World Congress was torn apart, by the same kind of division, envy, and self-interest. Let us not allow history to repeat itself.
